HI mommies...don't let my triple chocolate cake discourage you from making it....Looks is deceiving.
It looks ugly but the taste is heavenly...

Ingredients for chocolate sponge cake:
Egg Yolk Batter:
6 egg yolks
1 egg white
110 ml vegetable oil
120 ml water
2 tbsp full cream milk powder (mix with the water)
1 tsp baking powder
180 gm plain flour
20 gm choco powder
Egg White Foam:
5 egg whites
200 gm fine Sugar
chocolate Butter cream:
125 gm. Butter
125 gm. margarine
80 gm. icing sugar
100 gm. melted cooking chocolate
Methods:
(1) Mix all the egg yolk batter ingredient together, except flour, choco powder & baking powder. mix till those liquids well combine, then put in flour, choco powder & baking powder (shieved together). Stir till smooth and no lump.
(2) Whisk egg white till slightly forthy then gradually spoon in the sugar till finish. Whisk at high speed until forthy adn stiff peak form.
(3) Gently fold beaten egg white into egg yolk batter.
(4) Pour batter into a 25 cm cake pan. Bake at 180C for about 45 mins. or until cooked.
(5) Remove cake from oven and invert the pan onto a wire rack and leave it to cool completely.(6) Remove cake from pan and serve.
(7) For chocolate butter cream, beat butter, margarine and icing sugar till light. Then pour in melted chocolate and mix till evenly mixed.
(8) Apply chocolate cream onto chocolate cake and decorate as desired.
